    Glad ACPD caught the driver so quickly. As someone who was also hit near there by a driver with a bad record, wish they (and others) did more to get dangerous drivers off the road.

    I gave to the GoFundMe yesterday for her funeral expenses. When I lived in Arlington Mill I used to see Viviana riding her trike frequently. She usually had her basket filled to the brim.

    Am I reading the same report? What I am seeing is the victim was a pedestrian, not a bike rider.

    Walking her bike across the street according to the ARLNow article:

    “Reached by phone, Lopez Oxlaj said her mother was walking across the street with her bike, on her way to the nearby 7-Eleven store, when the driver blew through a stop sign at the intersection and struck her.”
