Avian anklebiter attack!

In the springtime/early summer there are LOTS of bunny rabbits running about then they all seem to disappear at once. Anybody know where they all go? A co-worker of mine insists they are eaten by predators but I am doubtful so many would be eaten so suddenly every year (and if that's the case, why aren't all the squirrels devoured too?).

As for the ducks, there was a calmer group at the White House the other day, although the mother seems to have taken a route that was a little too tough for the ducklings to handle. Secret Service agents had to help out:
