Where to donate bike parts
Are there any local options for donating bike parts?
Mt Rainier co-op didn't have much info. Velocity didn't seem to make mention of parts no the site, so maybe they're not taking anything.
Not on Facebook which is an impediment in the free cycling arena.

A few years ago I took several bins of bike parts to Phoenix Bikes.

Very similar mission as Phoenix but focused on DC youth.
“Gearin’ Up Bicycles’ purpose is to create career development opportunities and teach essential workplace skills to youth from under-served communities, while encouraging cycling as a practical, healthy means of transportation. Gearin’ Up provides access to quality, affordable, used bicycles for those in need and hosts various community outreach programs throughout the year.”
