1/15/22: unchartered LFL on 8 Bellefonte, Del Ray, Alexandria VA

It had an eclectic mix of adult titles from “Expectant Father” to steamy romance novels by Danielle Steele. There were also some CDs in it but it was too dark & cold to sort through them at that moment.

These LFL and Little Free Pantry stand adjacent at 402 E Luray Ave in Alexandria. The library mainly features children's literature.

Little Free Library 5th and Independence SE DC. Some great adult novels, but no kids books, so I added the classic board book "Babies" by Gyo Fujikawa.

What this one {on the 7800 block of Maple Ridge Avenue in Bethesda) mostly needs is a door. You can see where the hinges were, but the door is fine. And I fear that the books closest to the entrance are going to get destroyed by snow and rain.
In terms of books, it seems to specialize in history books, and could use more of those.

Love the bright sunflowers on this LFL at 15801 Sycamore Ln in Rockville, but the books were a mess!

So after organizing the books and a couple of maps too, I dropped off this book.

Little Free Library Pointless Prize
1/16/22 LFL 5226 N 36th St. amazing little library considering it's near an elementary school. Kids picture books, board books, real literature, and some trashy fiction

LFL at the Lyon Village Community Center at 1901 Highland in Arlington.
Cute LFL. Beautifully decorated and sponsored by Girl Scout Troop 3662.
I am guessing this is a well used LFL since only 5 books remained. This LFL needs books!!

This one was quite ornate: A main part with two stories (the upper one being where that round porthole is) with adult books, and an annex on the left side with kids' books (and a chimney on top). It could use more kids' books, though--that section was considerably less full than the adult section.

That LFL is gorgeous!! I want to live there!!
