When does this gathering begin? What should we bring? I couldn’t find the details.

Come whenever you like. The earlier you arrive, the more miles you can rack up. If you intend to stay until the just-before-midnight toast, plan your arrival time accordingly.
In past years, most of the late nighters tend to arrive after 9. Others have come after work to ride some laps before heading out earlier.

Bring whatever food and drink you need to sustain yourself. Prepare for the weather, of course. And a face mask for when we gather, and for riding if that works for you.
In past years we have had a social gathering spot with food, drink and celebratory decorations. The absolute best was the year Sarah Bee had an injury that prevented her from riding, so she hosted the FSLNHPP party spot. That location, as indicated on the map earlier on this thread, will still serve as the connection point. That's where you will want to stop if you are resting between laps or if you want to connect with other riders to circle with.
People have brought brownies, snacks and other items to share in the past. Feel free to do so if you like; I know it will be welcomed by others.

Given COVID, the party atmosphere will be toned down a bit. If you want to bring streamers, balloons, laser light show or anything else to liven the festivities please do.

I will bring a toasting beverage, but others are welcome to supplement with their favorite toasting beverage.

I hope that answers your questions. Please post additional questions here, so that we can answer for everyone.

Event gurus- happy to bring the party Mini down again and wondering how best I could safely provide snacks etc. in the Covid environment. Gloves? Sanitizer? Disposable plastic tarp for the trunk? Hand sanitizer give always? Any thoughts/suggestions? Trying to do something safely if feasible.

I was fortunate enough to have attended in 2018 and 2019 and had a lot of fun.

I anticipate being there again on Friday and hamster-ing HP late into the night.

I think it's totally doable. You'll obviously wash your hands well during preparation. Individually-wrapped items would be ideal (e.g., in some foil, plastic wrap, or more eco-friendly equivalent). I imagine most people are carrying sanitizer these days but a pump bottle of it by the snack area would be good. Key is that people don't crowd around and can avoid touching things that they don't intend to eat. I think we can count on this group being pretty conscientious.

Weather forecast for Friday evening is low 40s with rain and gusts of wind to 40MPH. Sounds like PRIME BAFS weather. Get ready to PR one half of Hains Point.

Weather's an inexact science, so who knows what it'll be like - some forecasts have the rain/snow/wind ending earlier in the day so it'll just be 30s but calm-ish and dry-ish. Hope springs eternal...

The current NOAA hourly forecast has most of the crazy weather before noon on Friday. Rain should end by early afternoon, with the winds down below 10mph just after sunset. In like a lion, out like a lamb...
