If you are ever on the W&OD, stop at the Herndon Centennial Golf Course for... what else? Filipino Food!

Egg Karne is inside of the Golf Course (there are a few picnic tables on the side). Karne means meat in Tagalog, so their specialties are egg and meat breakfast sandwiches. They do have some things for vegetarians and a black bean burger for vegans (I think the house made sauce has mayo, so be sure to ask).

Got coffee and a muffin at Northside Social in Falls Church, then worked on my bike at the Bike Club, another small, local business. I also am pleased to point out that the face mask I am wearing is from a small, 3-woman business in New York called Ichcha, that specializes in sustainable textiles from India.

Visited Buzz Bakeshop this morning in advance of the Friends of the Mt. Vernon Trail invasive vine removal event.

I was riding around Madrid today and came across an intersection where a guy dressed like a clown would jump out in front of cars stopped at the red light and start juggling balls! I gave him a Euro as he came back to the side of the rode near my bike.
