This flight, observed by President George Washington, spurred interest in ballooning in the United States
1/9/21 - Balloons 🎈 found on my neighborhood ride today.
Also, has anyone else had the experience that the next day after a particular subject is the challenge, you see them everywhere? Today I saw bells all over the place!
Synchronicity!!! If it’s meaningful to you, you’ll find a pattern
I wanted to find a commemorative marker for Blanchard's flight, which took off from Washington Square/Washington Prison Yard, but I couldn't find anything like that. You all are stuck with a boring store awning -- "Flower & Balloon Boutique".
A twofer day with Public Art and Picture of the day. I had an impossible time finding the mural. I had an address but that was not the mural site address. Without the keen eyesight of KBikeVA, I would still be stuck in OneLoudoun. (now to continue my story) a hard time tying the strings to the bike, but I was fortunate not to have the bike float up to the sky!!
