#PublicArtFinder - Unexpected find next the Broome Athletic Park sign I was taking a photo of: Map of Rockville by Steve Weitzman. Couldn't see much of this because of the melted snow and leaves. More details can be found here: https://www.weitzmanstudios.com/port...age/rockville/

Now, while this submission surely defines the meaning of art being in the eye of the beholder, it has been referred to the faceless cabal to verify its eligibility

“Takoma Trees” sculpture at Takoma-Piney Branch Park. (Takoma Park, MD)

Created by local artist Judy Sutton Moore. Former NBA player and Takoma Park native Steve Francis donated $70,000 for improvements to the park in 2012, including new Bball courts, a skatepark, and this sculpture!

At One Loudoun. Whimsical and given the evidence of footprints in the mud, a much photographed spot!

Ducks at Nellie's sports bar at 9th and U St. The mural is by Lisa Marie Studios who also painted the Love mural in Blagden Alley and the 51st state mural on Eno wine bar in Georgetown. They have a characteristic style of using a rainbow of colors.

Many of the Fairfax County Libraries have a book statue out front. This Alice in Wonderland book is at the Pohick Regional Library oh, but you might not see it if you don't drive through the book drop off line.
