FS2021 #LakeFinder
Post your #lakefinder pic here! But please do so responsibly by using the “small” option on your Tapatalk menu!!
Rules (which are more like general guidelines
):
1. Ride your bike a least a mile to any lake, pond or massive impounded body of water (loosely defined) that is freely accessible to the public
2. Take a picture of said body of water with a bicycle somewhere in the frame & post to either this thread, Strava, or the FS Facebook page, but please include the link here so that photo evidence can be found for verification purposes
3. Hashtag your ride #lakefinder (not CaSe SeNsItIvE) on Strava so that it can be counted on the PP leaderboard (https://freezingsaddles.org/pointles...tag/lakefinder ), and include your pic (see 2 above, and remember to post the link here)
4. #Lakefinder is limited to two per day, each as a separate ride if you want them to be counted on the PP leaderboard, and posted within 72 hours, so as to allow all a fair chance to play. Attempts to sandbag or game the competition, especially at the end of FS2021, will be disqualified.
5. I can’t win my own pointless prize, but I can play and post pics, too;-)
Entries will be judged by some faceless cabal on totally subjective criteria that may include use of creative objects (like a bike), composition, light, artistic flair, witty captions, great stories, # of quality submissions, and/or # likes, kudos or dislikes.
Now go find your Lake!

Just to clarify. We have to hashtag on Strava and post the picture here? No picture required on Strava?
Just trying to figure out what I need to do. Luckily, I didn't go by any water today, so I didn't miss out. But, I certainly will in the future!!

You can post your pic here, on Strava or the FS Facebook page, but please include the link here so that it can be found for verification purposes.

Good catch, indeed. The faceless cabal shall query @Consularrider for further evidence of “freely accessible”!!:-0

This game is getting serious. Rules are meant to be broken, brake that fence and go for a swim.
