Trollheim Bridge Cleaning on Saturday, October 10th

I just added some additional volunteer events. We're getting started on the next problematic bridge by the power plant in Alexandria. This is the bridge with the chain link fencing enclosing it and the zig zags that make it hard to see oncoming traffic. The bridge is currently being swallowed by kudzu making the sight lines even worse and increasing the potential for damage from the weight of the vines. The new events will be for removing these vines.

Volunteers reattached loose boards on Trollheim last Saturday. We got about half of the bridge done and put in around 400 screws. We also hammered down any nail pops. We also swept all the leaves off the bridge.

Board replacement will occur tomorrow before a final event on 12/6 to fix the remaining loose deck boards.
