This photo he took after a 2015 Friday Coffee Club is particularly hard but I'm really glad I have it.

Now I have my own journey to make to Lake Accotink, to sit at that place and find some sort of closure. Probably midday...

Thanks for sharing the photo and story. I think I may try to make my own pilgrimage after 3 today when work and child duties lift for the afternoon. #dirttherapy

I am planning to do a tribute ride tomorrow (Saturday 9/5) afternoon. Do I have the spot correct? -- Looks like the curve on the trail just south of King's Glen Elementary School and Clydesdale Rd.

A journey, to the western edge of Lake Accotink Trail:

This is a connector to the trail where Danbury Forest Road ends. Steeply graded- evasive action in either direction would not have been easy. Someone had already been there (Bikenetic?) and left flowers. I left my own modest memorial.
