    Default Capital Crescent Trail driver

Some people...driver claims his GPS directed him from K Street in Georgetown onto the CCT (and then into the canal). "Not impaired" seems narrowly defined.

Another reason not to use your Wahoo for driving directions.

In all seriousness - one would've hoped that someone in possession of a Wahoo would be able to recognize "oh, this is a bike trail" and not continue driving along. Given that the car ended up in the canal near Chain Bridge, I would have to imagine that the driver switched from the CCT to the towpath at Fletcher's Cove

You're probably right. It maybe then was a case of failing to switch Google Maps directions back to "Driving" from "Walking".

Wouldn't it have been difficult to drive through this? The driver not impaired? Sure, hours after the car was found. How about when the car was driven onto the trail?
