Never Doubt IPA: I get some of the fruit. Finish is a little bitter

Animal hazy IPA: Definitely fruity, not too hazy
Papagayo Brett Saison: I don't even know what their flavor notes mean. Good beer if you like sours

Right Proper Shaw
Amethyst Drip Belgian Pale: More pale than Belgian, slightly bitter finish

Vintage Foeder Aged Blank Slate wild farmhouse ale: A taster present from the bartender after I explained beerneuring to her. Grapefruit and something I can't place. Really nice
Blank Slate (not aged): less interesting. Not bad though

Beerneuring #35
Mar 7 a Red Bear Brewing. It was the 1st anniversary and since we got there early and got some swag too. I got the Fifty First State, a New England IPA. Yeasty, floral and hoppy with a nice creamy-ness. My favorite beer of the day.

Feb 7 at Right Proper Shaw. I got the Raised by Wolves, a dry hopped ale. Easy on the citrus, more floral and pretty dry.

Feb 7 at Right Proper Brookland. I got the White Bicycle, a saison with black limes. Really refreshing with lime citrus and spice notes.

Feb 7 at the Public Option where I got the Nut Brown, a brown ale. A lot more malty chocolate notes than I expected in a beer under 5% ABV. Pretty tasty.

Feb 7, last stop of the day was at Atlas. I had the Rowdy, a rye ale. Crisp but with some surprising sweet and floral notes on the palate. Finished with a faint spice that I expect from a rye.

#FS2020 Beerneuring #12 - Fifth Hammer Brewing Company, Long Island City, Queens. My second NYC, second Borough brewery. They had an on-tap selection that was more to my taste, not so slanted towards IPAs. I had a Bad Bad LeRye Brown Ale. Just what I was looking for today, very tasty.

Blanc Slate - Wild Farmhouse Ale
Light bodied and refreshing saison. I did not get a second, though.

You should have tried the Vintage Foeder Aged Blank Slate - it's much more interesting!
