Custis Trail - Aggressive Rider
From ACDP Report:
ROBBERY, 2019-10090179, Fairfax Drive at N. Harrison Street. At approximately 5:10 p.m. on October 9, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 4:50 p.m., the victim and a friend were riding their bikes along the Custis Trail when they had a brief exchange with the suspect who was traveling by bicycle in the opposite direction. The suspect later caught up to the victim on the trail, became aggressive and struck the victim’s bike with his tire, before the victim was able to ride away. The suspect again caught up to the victim, attempted to grab his personal belongings, before the victim kicked the suspects’ bicycle and rode away. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a white male, 5’9”-6’0”, 150-180 lbs., clean shaven, with gray hair, wearing a gray helmet, sunglasses, a blue shirt, black shorts and dark shoes, riding a blue and white bike. The investigation is ongoing.

I'd think it'd be helpful to know what direction each party was (initially) traveling in. Who was going east, who was going west?

Just the other day I was teasing an Ashburn-based friend about lawlessness on her part of the W&OD, what with armed robbery and indecent exposure happening on the trail. Now it turns out we have our own problems - cyclist on cyclist friendly fire problems.
