You should do it. There will be a large DC crowd there and some quality hanging out before and after the race.

The course itself is flat and mostly gravel. Savage Road was fun in a riding a bike through a Post World War I battlefield type of way. There was one section that turned into a 40 yard mud pit by the second lap.

If you are interested in racing, better sign up now. 16 slots left.

Also, I may have an entry to sell, but I will not know for sure until November/December.

I assume when you said "interested in racing" you really mean "interested in trailing the pack by like 2 hours" and that the 16 open slots still pertains to that classification of rider?

I'm planning on building up an allroad/road+ bike over the winter so that should be a little more appropriate than my Jamis with 32c max tires. Still gotta figure out if I want to go 650b or 700c.

I'll take it off your hands if you do, I'm a terrible human being and missed registration even with your reminder.

I have a friend who registered for the Women's 150 that won't be able to make it. If anyone is interested in buying her registration, let me know, and I'll put you in touch.

Capital Weather Gang is forecasting a "spring weather pattern" for the next couple of weeks...let's just hope the course stays relatively dry!
