    Default 7/25: Phoenix Bikes FUNdraiser - Tour de France Viewing Party p/b Team Sticky Fingers

    Hey ya'll - We're doing it again! And, I'll have a mic, and a bucket of raffle tickets, and lots of prizes and will be throwing stuff at you...watch your heads! All for a great cause....

    Come join Team Sticky Fingers in a night of fun-and-frolic to raise FUNds for Phoenix Bikes at the 3rd Annual Tour de France Viewing Party!

    We're once again taking over the WHOLE second floor at The GOAT in Clarendon.

    Thursday, July 25th
    The G.O.A.T.
    3028 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia 22201

    $5 Admission / Raffle Tix $5/each - 5 for $20 (available online or onsite)
    Doors Open: 6:30pm / Stage Begins 8:00pm and we'll be there until the broadcast finished (after 10ish...)

    Grab your ticket today so you can stop by after your training ride (bike parking near Clarendon Metro) or get your friends together for a night of fun, food, drink and frolic.

    All the screens will be tuned in to Stage 18 including the big screen smack in the middle of the place. To see all the prizes we have up for grabs check out the Facebook Event Page or follow Team Sticky Fingers on Twitter (@tsfracing).

    And, don't know much about pro racing? This is the time to learn what it's all about in a fun atmosphere with friendly faces.

    About Stage 18: According to CyclingStage.com the 18th stage of the Tour de France is the first stage in the Alps. Following intermediate climbs up the Col de Vars, Col dIzoard and Col du Galibier the race ends with a descent to Valloire, which lies close to the summit of the Col du Télégraphe.

    Phoenix Bikes' mission is to educate youth, promote bicycling, and build community. They transform local youth into bike mechanics and community leaders and relies on charitable donations to support their FREE youth and community programs. Phoenix Bikes is a 501c(3) organization.

    Team Sticky Fingers is proud to work with Phoenix Bikes as our part of our mission to support the future of cycling. Seeing the progress the current crew of youth members has made, whether racing or building bikes, is inspiring and we want to keep that momentum going!

    Quick update since the event is Thursday, Thursday, Thursday! First announcement...
    ***Thank you to City Bikes for donating a Raleigh Carlton Bike! We will be raffling this off around 9ish!***

    I'll be there on Thursday night. This is one of my favorite events of the year. Last year I won a really nice summer weight mesh jersey from the Clarendon Trek store. Thanks to Megan and Team Sticky Fingers for all of their work to organize this event and secure awesome prizes.
