Street Smart campaign around Clarendon Metro today between 7 and 9 AM. Police will be ticketing drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians for violations, so be in your best behavior.

I would love to see a breakdown on how many citations were issued, and for what.

There will be a fundraising walk on the Capitol Crescent Trail today between 5:30 and 8 p.m., from downtown Bethesda to River Road. Large numbers of walkers are expected.

Apparently Bike to Work Week is celebrated in Chicago by blocking the bike lanes.

Thanks for the photo. I rode by this on my way to the Crystal City B2WW and didn't have my camera with me. What' even worse is that I think these were from the Police Unity Tour cycling event.

Well, in Chicago BTWW is in June, so maybe they just didn't know when we celebrate it.

For next year, the County should more aggressively engage the organizers about their plans for (legally) parking all the police vehicles.

4mr from the mvt to rte 1 is bound to be a mess tomorrow. Some standing water this afternoon around 4 most notably at the 90 turn with some debris that shouldn’t have surprised me as much as it did. Be careful.

I was shocked by 4MR's non-flooded state this morning! Still some debris at the big connector to MVT.

This morning's low tide was at 11:40 am, high tide at 5:02 am; last rain on Monday was around 2 pm, lots of time to drain 4MR below the level of the trails..
