    Did they say anything about what movement may have caused this during your dismount? I'm assuming just the shocked/alarmed/tensed/stressed leaping from the bike, but was curious if there was a particular thing that could be identified as the culprit.
    No one has speculated as to what might have caused it. After the MRI Sunday, I have an appointment on Monday with the ankle specialist who will do the surgery - hoping he'll be able to shed some light.

    Sorry, Jo and I will be missing the final party. We'll be suffering in the heat of Sedona. I'll insist that we have a bad time so that we'll regret scheduling the last minute vacation
