Default Searching for Peace on 2 Wheels: free movie screening

It took Lynn Salvo, of McLean, VA, 70 days to ride her bike 4111 miles across Canada in Summer 2018, setting the Guinness World Record for oldest female to do so, finishing just weeks before her 69th birthday. Come “ride” with Lynn from Tofino, British Columbia, to Lawrencetown Beach, Nova Scotia, through Canadian mountains, prairies, lake country, along the St. Lawrence River, and the picturesque eastern coastal areas of Canada in less than an hour! Lynn's ride supported world peace — she visited a peace monument in each province in which she cycled — and find out the personal story of why Lynn chose peace as the theme of her ride. “Experience” the challenges of such a ride and see some of the planning and record keeping artifacts of her journey.

I put this on the calendar. Feel free to do so yourself for future events.
