1 point to @EMM for posting, +1 point for breaking the ice and being the first point, +1 point because we rode together until her bike broke, and +3 points because she went back to the distillery after her bike broke, demonstrating a superior sense of awareness of her predictament. 6 points total!!

Surprisingly smooth and clean tasting. I'm eager to try it in a proper G&T.
+1 point to @reji for posting, +5 points for drinking straight out of the bottle, and +1 point for inspiring me to go check out the new...and first...distillery in the Little City of Falls Church, 7 points total!!

3 points for @reji because she went for the flight of spirits, +1 point for knowng that it often takes water in order to fully "open up" a spirit, and +1 for taking someone else along since, after all, the spirit of #spiritneuring is to share the expierence with others. 5 points total!

I think it is only fair that I am ineligible to win the same prize that I am cosponsoring, but that does not mean that I shouldn't conduct spot audits to verifying the various places of spiritneuring posted on this thread.

Inspired by @reji, I cinducted my first site inspection at Falls Church Distillers, on the site of a former ABC store, and around the corner from the longest standing and eclectic bike shop in the Little City, The Bike Club.

I didn't drink the gin, but did audit their bourbon and whiskey. WOW! The bourbon has a heavy charcoal-Carmel nose that hits you if you are within 3 feet of an open bottle! The whiskey is super smooth, and would make a perfect ending to an evening. I may have to stop back on my way home!!

FCD now is licensed to serve over the bar since they opened up a very nice, classic Italian restaurant on the premises. So no further need to drink out of the bottle in the parking lot like @reji did.

I may very well host the winner of this prize here for dinner and spirits, after a suitable bike ride, of course!
