Beerneuring ride # something
Thanks to bmif for hosting the Team X gathering at New District last night.
I tried the 4MRV-DIPA first and shared it with my riding buddy. As IPAs go it played strong. Not for those who don't care for the serious hops. I liked it, though.
4MRV stands for 4 Mile Run Valley, by the way.

Beerneuring #5
Saturday started out chilly, but ended up beautifully sunny and warm. I had an unexpected friend in town, so we headed out Westward on the W&OD to play in the snow. We stopped by Caboose on our way back for a tasty beverage.
I had the Stop Drop & Dopplebock, which is just really fun to say. It was pretty good, beautiful colour and a hint of toasty malts.

Joined Team X - the fun team - last Fri to continue the tours of breweries in VA. This time to New District Brewing. I had always wanted to go here as well. Got a flight consisting of the Potomac Paddleboarder, Ginger Saison, Northside Kolsch, and Sangriale. I liked that some of the names were based on the area. The Potomac Paddler thankfully did not taste like the Potomac but a blonde ale. All were enjoyable. Particularly liked the Ginger Saison and the Sangriale which didn't taste like a regular red ale with its fruity flavor.

Last stop of the Napa Trifecta Ride - I had the Mallet Session IPA. It was a light IPA, just what I needed at that point in the day!

Beerneuring Stop #1: Right Proper in Shaw. I had the "No Depression" which was a country alt, and tasty, although I would've preferred a slightly darker/more flavorful beer.

Can I steal her picture since it’s the same beer? Are photos required? It was tasty, but most beer tastes similar to me

Do ciders count!?
As the saying goes, ignorance of the law is no excuse. No photo, no point. As was announced awhile ago, ciders (and meads) count.
