    Default Beerneuring #9 Franklins

I stopped at Franklins in Hyattsville yesterday. Franklins beer is alway solid. The Amber Reign, a hoppy amber, didn't disappoint. Click image for larger version.

Default Beerneuring #10 Right Proper - Brookland Production House

I stopped at the Right Proper Brookland Production House on the way home tonight. I'm not a huge fan of radlers, but the Vintage Kodachrome Dream(ing), one of their taproom exclusives, was excellent.

Stopped by The Bike Lane on the way home. Was originally going to get a coffee but ran into Josh and found out that The Bike Lane brew their own beer so switched liquid delivery format. Went with a bike theme and got the Chamois Cream Ale. It wasn't as creamy as a Boddington or Genesee but not bad.

Was most impressed with Josh double fisting a beer and a coffee at the same time. That's one way to knock off beerneuring and coffeeneuring at the same time! If he poured the coffee into his beer would that have made it a coffee porter? They also had pastries so he could have gone for a triple crown. Maybe at the next brewery...

Catching up on my beernuering posts! Had a pre-snow day drink a New District Brewery & visited Crooked Run Brewery on the #trifecta tour (along with Casanel Vineyard & Cotoctin Creek Distillery). This doesn’t get old

You need to say what beers you had and what you thought of them to get the Beerneuring points.

Default Beerneuring #12 - Right Proper Shaw Brewpub

I stopped by Right Proper's other location in Shaw and had their Wild Wolves. Right Proper's beer is consistently good, and this one didn't disappoint.

Stopped by ChopHouse on my way home last night. Clearly, I don’t follow sports, or I would have realized they would be full of Capitals fans! Learned they were the oldest brewery in the district & met the bartender who’s been with them since day 1. Tried the IPA - it was an IPA.

Stopped by Right Proper Brewery in Shaw. Apparently they brew everything at the Shaw location except the Haxan. Decided to go with a road theme and got the lookaftering (a biere de garde), zebra crossing (a belgian wheat), and motorik (a sour). Liked the Motorik which was nice and tart.

So - did some sleuthing... the beer was Bravo. It was strong. Reji was impressed I drank it after a 50mile Ride. It was delicious. It inspired Reji to buy a 4-pack to bring home.
