Reji knows a good route from the W&OD through the neighborhoods to Route 50 near Fairfax HS. Rebel Run, the road to the HS, can take you to Old Lee Hwy, which is not too busy with cars, although I think Iíve only driven there.

This is horrible news. So sad. Chris was a great athlete and a kind and conscientious co-conspirator on Freezing Saddles. Rest in peace, Chris Maimone.
Sorry I canít make the funeral (Iím still in Brooklyn). Hugs. w&w

I was very saddened to hear of Chris's passing. We would run into each other occasionally during our commutes when I lived in Fairfax. He was always quick to offer a hearty greeting and a warm smile. He will be missed.

Here a are a couple of options for getting to St. Leo's by bike.

I attended the wake and visitation this afternoon. There were scores of people there and a long line to sign the book. Chris clearly touched many, many people. This is very sad.
    Peace, friend.

I know I'm late to this, but I'm reading this now for the 1st time. I am also stunned and saddened. He was a wonderful guy and though I only saw him in person every-once-and-again, we were frequently in the same cyber-spaces.

When I was starting my Climate Ride attempt and afraid of fundraising, he gave me invaluable encouragement and advice. Including: "You receive what you ask for." God bless him...
