Default WABA Call to Action Summit - Nov 3!

Mark your calendars everyone! November 3rd is an important day - WABA will be hosting a Regional Call to Action Summit to help in shape the future of bicycling in the DC, Maryland and Virginia regions. The one day summit is a culmination of weeks of local meetings in all six jurisdictions that WABA represents and it will include a presentation of plan for the the next five years of advocacy for the region.

The event will be held from 8:30am - 4:30pm at the Waterview Conference Center in Arlington, VA.

We at BikeArlington appreciate everyone's efforts that attended the local meetings back in September and early October. It would be great if you could attend the summit and represent the phenomenal Washington Area biking community!

You can get more info and register for the event here --> http://www.waba.org/events/summit.php
RSVP for the event on facebook --> https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=267320399971832

We hope to see you there!!!!!

Am at work wishing I could be there, like probably 99% of people who would have come if it were on a weekend.

How did you find out about the broadcast? I would have liked to have listened to parts of the morning sessions. I didn't see anything on the WABA site mentioning that we could access the Summit by Internet, and even ask questions if we wanted to.

It doesn't look / sound like you missed anything. A mic on the camera at the back of the room doesn't provide usable audio for a web cast. Nice idea, just needed better production.

The audio was audible this morning. not production quality, but about as good as some youtube videos. I could hear everything pretty well.
