    Default Longest Day Ride, 2018

Anyone have any thoughts for a Summer Solstice ride on Thursday, June 21? Sunrise in Arlington will be at 5:43 am and sunset at 8:36 pm. Plenty of time to get a long ride in.

Oh, I have lots of ideas. Unfortunately, I will have to live vicariously through you since I have several meetings on Thursday...

~15 hours? That should be enough time to finish the C&O in a day, especially if you have gears

Join you? <cough, cough> I, er, have a... wash my hair something something.

Well, I just got mine cut, so it will dry while I ride.

Only an idiot would attempt that.

I'll vouch for the amount of hair on this guy so it is a legit excuse.

Well, given the reports on the condition of the C&O, you're probably right and I should try something more reasonable. Le sigh.

If I had the day off, I'd ride up and do Murderer's Row, then ride home. That should fill those hours.

Yeah, I'd imagine C&O conditions would be a little boggy with these thunderstorms dumping rain and forecast of rain on Thursday.

Not this year, unless you have a flying bike.
