Today's ride out was fine, but the ride back tomorrow promises to be a mess!

Good to see you made it back to Georgetown. They looked rather soaked when we passed them. Kudos to all five of you for riding today.

The path may be soggy, but the spirit was high and dry. Had a great time, thank you!

I came home covered in rain, bug bites, mud, road spray, and things I'd rather not think about, but I had a blast anyway. Thanks for organizing, Judd!

Arriving at the lockhouse on Saturday, still looking fresh:

What a great trip! I highly recommend a stay in a Lockhouse. Beautiful building and it was furnished with lots of chairs.

    The start at Dogtag Bakery:

Pedaling on the towpath. Steve O and Erin rode out with us for a bit before turning back.

    Bikes at the Lockhouse.

We enjoyed a couple of hours sitting out back. The rains came just in time for dinner.

He was hanging out the next morning too. I named him Drivel (pronounced Dr. Evil).

It would be hard to beat the fine photos already posted so I'll just say thanks to Judd for organizing this gig and deciding to book the lockhouse. Best decision ever. And a big thanks to Komorebi for schlepping the beer. Anticipating those cold brews got me through the last 4 miles while I was hallucinating white buildings in the distance.

And seriously, no one else stopped for hand cranked ice cream from the Girls Scouts at Riley's Lockhouse? Or was that another hallucination?
