Full Team Roster Achieved
Way to go Team 13. We got our full teamroster now. Thanks to all for getting all the boring admin stuff done.
Well except for the team's name.
I need to go thru the latest posts that were submitted (thanks for those).

Team Name "Team 13 - Tretten on Thin Ice"?
I think I want to go with this name. It's a clever use of 13, includes hoping for luck being on thin ice, includes winter element, and is a play off the common expression. Also Norway conjures up image of cold and winter more than Greece and is easier say.
Unless any forceful objections, let's move on with the name, shall we?
Thanks for everyone's input.

Team 13 inifiltrating Team 11 Donut ride tomorrow
If anyone can make the donut ride led by komorebi tomorrow, it would be nice to meet you.
]Planned itinerary: meet at 10:00 a.m. at the Sugar Shack in Arlington, at 1014 S. Glebe Rd; ride to the Sugar Shack in Alexandria, at 804 N. Henry St.; finish at the Duck Donuts in Alexandria, at 3610-F King St. The planned route is about 9 miles, with a few gentle hills; social pace, no drop.

Importance of the Sleaze Ride and Daily Riding
But, we have over 100 more miles than 1st and 2nd place teams 19 and 18.
How is this possible you ask?
Days ridden with the 10 point bonus is the answer.
As much as possible, please try and do at least a 1 mile ride a day to get the 10 point bonus.
As I initially said, I care more about participation, than miles ridden.
Hope everyone has a good weekend and is able to do some riding.
Anyone can announce a team event at any time, coffee, beer, ride, etc...

Hey, Bob. I think you confused BAFS18-Team #7 (my team!!!! Yay!!!!) for team 18. And by the way. Our team rocks!! We are going to eat lots of donuts, drink lots of beer, and ride mega-miles! (well, at least decent miles, but most days). I learned from last year that the daily riding team wins out over the mega-mile team.

Your right Alan. I knew it was your team, but saw the leading BAFS 18 title and got the team number incorrect. Please enjoy donuts and beer, but you can maintain your waistline and stay warm and dry by riding a stationary bike indoors #NOBAFS

Hello Tretten on Thin Ice Teammates
Hello all. My name is Cathy and I live in Fairfax, somewhat near the Fairfax Wegmans. Unlike many, I have lived in Fairfax County most of my life. I work part-time as an RN in Fredericksburg (long story) hence I do not bike commute. When my children were young I used to take them for rides on the W&OD. Other than those occasional excursions I did not do much biking until 3 years ago when I went on a ride on the Great Allegheny Passage. After that, I was hooked -- it was such a beautiful and refreshing ride. This is my 3rd season with Freezing Saddles. I like FS as it gives me incentive to ride during the winter when I would not otherwise ride and I have met so many great people who love to ride. Except on my work days (I do 12+ hour shifts at a hospital) I am generally pretty flexible on ride times. I occasionally get out and ride with Babes on Bikes (B-o-B) during the week {I met them through FS} and Washington Women Outdoors (WWO) on the weekends. My husband and I have also done some bike touring including Bike Virginia, Bike the Erie Canal and the Great Waterfront Trail (Canada). I look forward to meeting and riding with everyone.
