DC School Safety and Safe Passage Working Group Parent and Family Survey

The School Safety and Safe Passage Working Group, chaired by the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education and the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Safety and Justice, wants to hear from you about your safety concerns as our students travel to and from school.

Please visit http://dme.dc.gov/family-safety-survey to complete the parent and family survey by January 31, 2018 using your cellphone, tablet, or computer!

If you have any questions or safety recommendations for the neighborhood surrounding your school, please send an email to safepassage@dc.gov.

Having taken the survey, it appears the focus is on schools in the following areas:

1. Anacostia Metro
2. Good Hope Rd SE Corridor
3. Minnesota Avenue Metro
4. L'Enfant/Waterfront Metro
5. NoMA/Galludet Metro

Based on the NoMA school list, it looks like they're capturing a number of schools that are within 3/4 of a mile or so of the Metro station.

In any event, I thought it worth sharing in case folks were interested in providing feedback as applicable.
