This beer, and all I have had at Star City, have been okay but not outstanding. I still go to Star City because they have great music, many bluegrass and folky acts, that are trying to break into the Lyons music scene. Planning to go there again tonight (driving) to see this act: https://www.reverbnation.com/hotfoot

This is their marketing blurb on this beer:

    ALL AMERICAN IPA
    6.5% ABV | 79 IBU
American IPA brewed with a handful of elusive USA hops: Columbus, Simcoe, Amarillo, Mosaic and dry hopped with Citra hops. 2016 US Open Beer Championship – Silver.
Not sure why those hops are "elusive". Pretty easy to get those varieties. Might want to ask them.

Jrenaut #2 RAR Brewing. This is a Hyde w/Galaxy IPA. It's hazy and fruity and pleasant but not my favorite.

I'm pretty sure that this is their best beer: https://rarbrewing.com/beer/lumber-sexual/

Yeah, but I do need to ride home. It's late in the day for 8%

    Default Beerbeuring #1 Caboose

A little delayed, but got the brewmaster's flight from Caboose in Vienna on Jan 5 while hunting the Calvinball. The saison was my favorite of the four, followed by the Citra IPA, the brown ale, and the ever-present Vienna lager. I have neither the palate nor the vocabulary to properly describe the beers, so I'll go with the the ranking and a general comment that they all tasted like beer.

    Default Beerbeuring #2 Old Ox

Stopped at Old Ox yesterday and drank both a cherry sour (Funky Face, pictured) and a Belgian dubbel (Hipmonk, no photo). I'm a fan of sour beers, so the cherry one was right up my alley.

Default jrenaut #3 - Eastern Shore Brewing

This is their IPA. It's fine.

Rules question - we parked basically next door, ate lunch, then rode around for a bit and came back. Does this count? Here is the Strava track.

Also, if you are ever in St Michael's, the beer at ESB is fine but the tacos at Gina's next door are FANTASTIC and totally worth the trip.

    Yeah, that works for me.
