They're preparing for me to ferry over from Hains Points to do Maine Avenue PBL loops.

It looks like the bike-ometer in Rosslyn, which shows daily numbers up top, monthly numbers below and the annual number as a bar rising from the bottom. That's what the 500,000 is showing - the annual number.

Nothing like dodging traffic while riding on milled pavement...at least it's an indicator that fresh asphalt is on the way.

I was noting that there are six LED numbers for the daily rider count. We'll need a few more lanes in the PBL for that.

Somehow they managed to make it worse this morning. I went over the top on Case Bridge so could not see all of what was happening below, but traffic was pouring up 9th to take the left to the Promenade making getting away from the Case Bridge difficult. I assume this means the westbound lanes of Maine were closed and 9th was the detour?

So "fun" this morning! Maine Ave westbound was closed at 9th, so all traffic was being diverted up 9th. Looking back, I think the sidewalk on the north side of Maine was actually open, but it was unclear from where I was and the cement looked wet too. So I cut up to Banneker and took the Case Bridge.
