The National Bicycle and Pedestrian Documentation Count Project has designated the second week in September as the next count period, and the Alexandria Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee will participate, as we do regularly, by deploying volunteers on Thursday, September 14 (5:00 - 7:00 pm) and Saturday, September 16(12:00 - 2:00 pm). These counts help the City monitor and plan walking and biking infrastructure.

Volunteers are needed. If you would like to help, review our Count Locations (shown below) and send a message to me, Ken Notis (Bike and Pedestrian Count Coordinator) with your preferences.

I can can be reached via e-mail civ2kn@gmail.com or phone 703-678-9566 -or by message here.

Thanks!
