HELP NEEDED - replacing a bottom bracket
The bottom bracket on my Bianchi is officially toast. I'd like to learn how to replace it but don't have the tools or know-how.
This will be a 2 part job - #1: take off the bottom bracket, then take it to the shop and get a replacement. Then #2: put it back on. I'm also getting a new chain and switching from 3X10 to 1X10.
I should have the tools for everything but the bottom bracket.
So, is anyone near-ish to Columbia Heights, DC, with bottom bracket tools and a willingness to help me with this? I can pay in beer, baked goods, or homemade hot sauce, your choice. I have a decent workspace in the basement or I can come to you. You can PM me here or email me at my forum name @gmail if you prefer.
