So, I would like to do the 59-mi version of VASA instead of the 31 (I registered for 31). Anyone know if they'll happily hand me the 59-mile cue sheet if I show up at the early roll-out time on Sunday morning or if they insist that riders stick to the ride they registered for?
Switching ride lengths is ok. I switched last year.

    Cool.

As a Midwesterner my greatest fear is troubling others.

I don't think changing ride lengths is going to be an issue. I'll be doing the Vasaloppet (59 mile), too, so see you there!

Sunday is also my mom's birthday, so post-ride I may have to jet early so I can get home, shower, and bike to her birthday lunch.

Sure, I'm riding the 31m route.

Anybody else thinking of using studded tires? The weather forecast certainly sounds sloppy.

I am a ride leader for the 31-mile route. Anyone want to ride with me?
I will just be really slow going up from Old Angler's to the top of MacArthur Ave...

I expect I will be declaring something at the halfway rest stop at Vie de France a Doughneuring qualifying item

I will be there between 7:30 & 8. Would like to roll by 8 and would very much enjoy riding with my friends, so let's keep an eye out.

    Look for the green tags.
I am assigned to lead a group with a 31-mile ride start at about 9:15 or 9:30.
Very much hoping we are not pedaling through snow. Kate

Well, it's 10C here and when you are heading to the House of Sweden I'll be heading to Diez and Limburg an der Lahn and try to do a 50 km ride in sympathy for y'all.

It's my hope to leave here early enough to roll out on the front end of the spectrum (7:30-8) but we'll see--I'll be doing the 59 mi. I would say "look for the MSU jersey" but I think I'll be too bundled for that.

10C... I know nothing of your moon measurements! Doesn't sound too cold though...
