    Default Vision Zero - Alexandria

Last night the Alexandria City Council voted 7 - 0 to adopt a Vision Zero Resolution with a goal of eliminating all traffic deaths and serious injuries by 2028. The resolution also calls for the creation of an Action Plan to implement Vision Zero.

City staff will develop a Vision Zero Action Plan over the next several months. Staff plans extensive community outreach in developing the action plan, including three community meetings in April, 2017 and on-line comments. For more information go to the City's Vision Zero web page.

I was told, the City wanted to rethink how they would gather public input for the Action Plan.
