Default Cyclist down this morning on the MVT

Happened right next to the 395/14th St. overpass. I rode by around 8:40am, there was one person on the ground who looked injured. That person had their head on a backpack and appeared to be on the phone. Three other cyclists were there directing traffic, and seemed to have things under control. Anyone know if that person is alright?

Could've been @streetsmarts? She went down this morning, and her Strava track abruptly ended at precisely that time and location. She says she went to ER to get checked out, lots of cyclists stopped to help. Sounds like she'll be okay, with some road rash and possibly stitches.

    Hope all is well!!

Hi all it was me! Riding my other bike...rushing amd distracted i caught the edge of the pavement and slid on the asphalt. All ok. One stitch for gash in my arm and lots of road rash. Two hurtin fingers and sore rib. No breaks. So many folks stopped and help. Especially Grerg who stayed w me til the amb came. I wasnt sure how bad i was hurt. Be careful out there. I will pay more attention and lv more time. Yall are the best.

Yikes! I went by the scene and saw that there were four people tending to you (I wasn't aware you were streetsmarts). Ouch. You've had a really bad couple of weeks! Good you got checked out. Keep an eye on the rib and fingers; hairline fractures take a few weeks to show up on x-ray. If things still hurt in three weeks, get it/them x-rayed. I hope your bike managed to make it home with you okay too. Rest up.
