For folks going westbound that may be less frequent users, it is much less obvious that the underpass is open. Signage for the detour is still up. I probably would have detoured out of habit this...
Please share that the Rosslyn Pit Stop had the greatest coordinator of all time.

Depends on the tides.
Looks like they went with a new shirt vendor this year based on the individually wrapped shirts. There was a shirt-tastrophe last year. The shirts didn't arrive until 2 days before and there was a...
I took a look at the bike counter dashboard and it looks like the counter that's not showing data is the one at the base of the concrete bridge over the Parkway instead of the one on the ramp from...
Plans to race the cargo bike and trailer in the anything goes races were thwarted by unfortunate circumstances was glad to make it just in time to cheer on other racers.

Saw one of these being ridden in the wild on the MVT last night but didn't have time to see if I could find one to ride. They all have the new seatpost quick release handle which is pretty nice since...
Last call for your stupid silly bike tricks from Freezing Saddles. I'll go through all of the submissions Saturday night and select the 4 winners.
NPS does. It’s fairly close to needing a complete redecking. Not sure if it’s all the original wood from when the bridge opened in 1977. From pictures I’ve seen of the opening the vertical elements...
Thanks for e-mailing them. It was on my to do. The FoMVT storage unit is in Shirlington and we are hauling loaded down trailers over this curb and it would totally suck to have to unload and reload a...

Isn't that the cone and barrel on the right side of the picture?
Detour is going to continue to be in place for another three months. :(
The International Society of Secret Lumberjack Masons have ways of identifying each other.
Someone should buy that lumberjack a beer next week. I roll through here most days and don't find the entrance and exit angle to be problematic on the south end. It's a bit sharp on the north end,...
