Friday Hooky Ride: https://www.facebook.com/events/182282459030372/
Not sure what the trails or roads in Loudoun County will look like by Friday. I'm relatively sure that we all will die...
I'd also like to apologize. At least half of my miles these days are on an indoor trainer due to some physical therapy that I'm working on. I'll still get my outdoor miles in every day, but it...
If anyone has Fridays off, likes warm weather, gravel and lots of rain, I'm leading a ride in Loudoun County tomorrow. Details on Facebook.

Hey Team 18. Kind of weird to be talking about freezing saddles when it is supposed to be almost 70 degrees tomorrow. At least we may see some snow flakes on Saturday.
See y'all out there.

The most frequent cause of problems with Garmin devices of that vintage is running out of storage. I obviously don't know if that is the case with yours, but some Garmin devices a few years back did...
That describes 80% of the problems in my life. ;)
It is all caught up! Thanks. Great suggestion, Mr. Renaut. That's my plan. Gonna go longer tomorrow though. ;)
From what I can tell in my circles, I'm not the only person that is experiencing it. That may confirm that something is up and rides are not going from Strava to Freezing Saddles data. I see 3...
Cool. I haven't read this whole thread, so I don't know if there's something at my end that I can do, or do I just wait and see when their APIs go up again. My guess is that I just kick back and...
Hey y'all.
I had a ride that recorded in Strava, but hasn't shown up on Freezing Saddles yet. It has been almost 6 hours since I uploaded the ride. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal, except...
Too nice to stay home on the couch.

No worries, sir! Freezing saddles goes for months. Your health is WAY more important. When you're feeling better, start back slowly and consistently. Your contributions have already helped us...
Freezing saddles loses a lot of its fun if you're just miserable out there riding. That said, I've always used Freezing Saddles to help inspire me to ride a little deeper than I would otherwise...
There is a new post in the team assignment thread that will help get everyone signed up. I think we're down to one missing team member.
Thanks y'all for getting the sign up process done! It...
I lead 3 rides per week from Bikenetic. Tuesday mornings early, Fridays (all day) and Sunday mornings. I usually try to post up the rides by Sunday night. Sometimes I don't make that goal. ...
I've got 90 minutes to get a ride in before work on Monday. Sorry!
There is a Friday ride though: https://www.facebook.com/events/1837837979763034/
Alright!
Many of us are NOT showing up on the leaderboards. To my knowledge, there are now 4 things that you need to do in order to score points.
1) Join the Freezing Saddles 2017 Club on...
I solved my personal problem. I wasn't showing up because I hadn't clicked "Login" on the leaderboard page and connected via Strava. Hopefully that solves it for other team members.
It looks like about 70 people dropped off the leaderboard last night. Not complaining! I know it will all sort out. Just thought that I'd let you know. Thank you very much for making this all...
Idiots? I'm in the right group. What were we talking about???
Hi!
Yayyyy Team 18!!!
I'm Pete. I'm just getting all of my connections done so that my miles will start showing up on the leaderboard. I think I've got it now. I'm a little late in making that...
I've been riding the road into the for the last few weeks and staying off the trails. This morning I rode Custis and W&OD both in and out of the city so that I could bask in the awesomeness that is...
It is good to think about your detours for these underpasses. I went through an hour later and Carlin Springs underpass was about 6" under water and Bluemont (aka Wilson Blvd) was 3' deep.
It...
I have and use both. I like the Moose Mitts better. They're warmer for me. The Barmitts are great and have a good temperature range. When it gets very cold, I tend to use the Moose Mitts.
