I have pedals #2 as well. I like them a lot. The flat side is a little slippy, but I tend to use them only when I'm not in a hurry and so it's not really a big issue. I enjoy having the option to...
I can meet up at that Cabi station at about 440 if that works for you. That should put us at the intersection of doom around 5. Sound good?
Maybe Ovechkin was trying to reconnect after heading back to Mother Russia?
Had a nice little ride with Jason K yesterday down 4MR and W&OD. Thanks for slowing down to ride, it was nice to chat for a while.
Oh wow, that is awesome. I hope she finds her way to the South Capitol Street Bridge!
Looks like they are banning them in NYC (from WashCycle): http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2013/04/26/mayor-bloomberg-expected-to-sign-e-bike-ban/
Same here. Best one I've ever used by far.
Also, they sell them at Target (and I'm sure elsewhere), if you want more immediate gratification than Amazon.
Beautiful view across the river this morning:

Rough deal. Hope you get better soon.
I'm in and might even have the wife swing by.
I love that you did the Wine Country Century in an Oberon jersey, and then went to Russian River. Now THAT sounds like a good party.
I can be at Ballston at 5:30 to help with the setup, I just have to leave by 6:45-7:00.
Spotted Walter Tejada riding on the W&OD at Columbia Pike. Said hi and thanked him for all his support of cycling.
I'm not really into politics, but it's pretty great that our County Board...
Yep, that's me.
Spotted Tim today taking the lane thru Memorial Circle and across the bridge. By "spotted," I mostly mean "heard."
Glad that you made it thru (mostly) unscathed.
This is along the lines of what I was thinking. My commute is, by far, the biggest stress relief in my day.
Perhaps. Though I believe in the development that I pictured above, the shopping, cafes, etc., is all done at the pedestrian plaza level. I guess it partially depends on the location and what you're...
My dreams can only get so greedy. :)
While that is fair, I would think building a pedestrian bridge up is more cost effective than building a road down. It certainly is less attractive, but I tend...
I pray in my head sometimes that Memorial Circle could look like this (the elevated ped circle, not the skyscrapers). I'd imagine you feel the same way as some of the circles in DC.

Same as everyone else, showers being huge in my opinion. Other likes:
1. Policy that allows bikes inside offices/cubicles, particularly in inclement weather.
2. Hanging space/locker type...
I've got a few extra stands like this: http://www.cheapbikeparts360.com/products/willworx-super-stand-bike-stand/
PM me if you want one.
Get well and back on the bike soon!
I think you are technically not allowed to, but I've never had any issues when cutting thru, and I don't think it is enforced at all (and possible not enforceable).
I always find it funny...
