I work in one of the buildings in that block, you can also turn north on Wakefield and go around the building to catch the trail on the back side.

Not sure how much time it might add but there is the pedestrian bridge just north of Braddock. Enter the Wakefield park entrance, take the service road past the Audrey Moore rec center and...

I ride from North Springfield to Arlington via Hummer/Annandale Rd to WO&D to Custis/end at Glebe (12.1 mi)... after taking that you could continue on the WO&D to Army Navy Drive or Custis to...

about 6 runners around 5 this morning between 4 mile and Ballston...no other bikes during my time.

Two things from yesterday today...

1. Yesterday, Custis trail..anyone else see the maintenance truck stuck in the ditch along the trail? Guy was trying to break it out with the lawnmower, sucked...

Not sure where you are located but the Bike Lane also carries Surly. I bought my Disc Trucker there a few months ago and love the bike.

EDIT: I test rode both the Trucker and the CC before...
