Biography:

Grew up in western PA and Hampton Roads before coming to AU for college. After three years of Peace Corps service in Ukraine, I returned to the DC area. I really got back into cycling in 2009 and have been a daily commuter ever since and dabbled in touring, though not to the extent that I would have liked.

Weekdays find me bike commuting to downtown DC every day. On weekend mornings you might find me out for a ride with my 1.5 y.o. son in tow in his Burley D'Lite. :)

Currently pursuing a masters in urban planning so I can change careers and do something I'm more passionate about professionally... and hopefully make things better for bikes somewhere.
