Safety improvements in Shirlington - thank you!

Many thanks to all involved for the much needed widening of the sidewalk/extension of the WO&D near the Weanie Beanie crossing! That and the flashing lights at the intersection are much appreciated, especially for those of us who use that route to commute.

Now if they had only widened the sidewalk over the bridge too!

You're right - I was mistaken about that part. They didn't widen the bridge itself yet, just the areas at each end of the bridge. I think widening the sidewalk on the bridge itself is in the long term plans. Still a big improvement however!
