Today the FCC votes on the Network Neutrality proposal. The order is said to be quite large (and I am not sure when it will come out - it does not always come out the same day as the vote).

I have an FCC Hat for the person who can correctly spot my contribution to the order. Hint: assuming it survives final edits, it will be easy to spot.

Am I correct in concluding that the FCC seal actually shows a Federal agency electrocuting an eagle?????? I will have you know that is likely a violation of the Endangered Species Act, the Bald Eagle Act and possibly the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. You don't want me to set Wheels&Wings on you.

Yeah, that's pretty much what we call it. The seal goes all the way back to the day, and I believe the lightning bolts are suppose to be radio.

There was something else wrong as well. I think one of our engineers noted that the wiring diagram was wrong - as in it was grounded wrong and current could not possibly go through it as diagrammed. But I think that may have been fixed.

i believe the lightning bolts are suppose to be radio, so we are only sterilizing the eagle (or microwaving it).

So, just look for the typos and bad grammar?

I was thinking we just command-f the words "puppy" and "bike" next to each other.

No, I think you have it backwards. The badass eagle is wreaking havoc on our puny network infrastructure with its lightning bolts.

Yeah, that's what the kids who just graduated with JDs are fer. They can be the grammah fascists. That gives me more time, to, er, ah, do research. Yeah, research.

Is it the stuff about mobile voice services/networks?

I did a search for "coffee" and "puppies" in the document and got na-da.

Ah, okay. My next guess was going to be the phrases "virtuous cycle", "fast lanes" and "clear rules of the road".

Ah, okay. My next guess was going to be the phrases "virtuous bicycle", "fast bike lanes" and "WaronCars".

Yes yes, I worked on all those provisions.

I didn't see pickles anywhere but I did see

This system prevented network owners from engaging in anti-competitive behavior and spurred the development and adoption of new technologies

Yeah, but I didnt put that in the order. I didnt even know that was in there! This isnt about vanity (I would not be inflicting my boring law review articles on you). This is about subversion.

As Justice Stewart said, You will know it when you see it.
