A question for happy hour attendees - because of the big size of our group, would you all mind chipping in around $5-$10 cash for a table of appetizers?

It might help things run more smoothly, and any leftover funds could be put toward our final event.

We'll have a few people helping with nametags who could collect the money, if you all are ok with that.

Totally fine with me. I'll bring cash. Just order some veggie things please! Thanks again for organizing!

No issue contributing $5-10. I was granted permission to participate by the Minister of the Interior and Finance, and have been allocated well over double that amount as spending money for the evening. ;)

I think it's a great idea to just order in advance. I'm happy to chip in.

Fine by me! Cap City usually have 1/2 price apps during HH, maybe they could extend that to us.

I think the half price HH appetizers are on Thursdays only, but no worries, I'm working with Cap City on this.

Can I change my RSVP? I wasn't planning on making it, but with this kind of generous patronage, I might just have to make it happen. That's a lot of nachos. ;)

Happy to chip in financially or to help out if you need extra hands. Thanks for hosting:)

I've got a few Washingtons laying around that I can throw in.

OK, I'm going to call this a quorum and consider that all or at least most of us are in. Will order a light assortment of things and make sure vegetarians are taken into account. If any funds are left over, they will be contributed toward our final event.

Please make your contributions in cash ($5 - $10) when you pick up your nametags.

We have an area in the back of the room where panniers, backpacks and jackets can be left. (The room is L shaped, this area is the small part of the L in back.) We'll probably have the nametag/team assignment/contribution station near that area so you can put your things down first.

In addition, because there are so many of us, I'm reserving some nearby booths and/or tables in the main area of the restaurant where teammates and friends can gather and order more food or dinner if they like.

Gold nuggets will be awarded at 7 pm.

Final updates about the event will be in edits to the first post in the "Alert" about the date change thread, and may include more bike parking info. (The diagram there shows a lot of the bike parking, but there are also a number of U racks near the bus station just up the street and at the library.)

Let's have a party!

I will contribute, but to offset Cyndi's veggies we need to also get the most fried, meat product-filled appetizer also.

I have nothing against fried food. Bring on the nachos, fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, quesadillas! Plenty of fried veggie options ....

No worries. Got it covered. We're good.

From another vegetarian in the group, I second this notion.
