I don't really have a novel point here, and I'm sure technologists are all over this, but I notice that a station in my life is often empty - the one at the Lincoln Memorial.

I feel bad for tourists who want a bike. And I notice that people hang on to their bikes and pay the fee to avoid being bike-less.

I daisy chain/dock-hop/?? there frequently on weeknights around 8 pm because there is a CaBi desert from the Mall to Columbia Pike, and I feel like a jerk guarding "my" bike protectively while bike-less vultures encircle it.

Anywho, just commenting...

Why not just daisy chain at one of the stations on Constitution (19th or 21st)?

I usd to do that, but the time difference is just enough that I will have to do it again if I ride lazily and hit lights to get home.

Also, while not as bad, the kickball and softball athletes tend to suck them up by that time.

And like I said, I already have a bike, but kind of feel for the tourists.
