View Full Version : Battle of Bladensburg Encampment -- Saturday August 24

We're doing an easy ride down from Proteus (http://www.proteusbicycles.com/eventsrides/) to visit this -- leaving the shop at noon, returning by 3pm probably. No drop, almost all on flat paved trails, 8 miles RT or so. Riversdale is 2 residential blocks from the NE branch trail, and is kid or beginner bikeable from College Park Metro (maybe 2 miles each way with sidewalks/calm streets).

Note, there will be a bike corral, and there's plenty of space for kids to run around on the lawn, silly uniforms, muskets, horses etc. -Jeff
