View Full Version : Sat Sept 14, 10am, Family Bike Ride - Alexandria East End/West End Connections

The September informal community BPAC ride will be a ride around Alexandria exploring bicycle friendly connections between the east and west ends of our city.

This will held at a casual pace and will have a little bit of sidewalk and street riding with a couple of hills. We are limiting our travel on larger roads for families to be able to join us. This will be a no drop ride. We will begin at the Velocity Coop and will continue to the west end via the Beverly Hills and Fairlington neighborhoods. We will then meander over to Braddock Road to see the sharrows recently installed, continue down Seminary Hill to Holmes Run and use that trail to find our way back towards Old Town and Del Ray. Occasional stops will be made to explore connections to Arlington and parts of Fairfax County from Alexandria.

Bring: Yourself, a bicycle, water, a sense of adventure
Cost: There is no cost to attend.
