Cut and paste:

Good afternoon,

I would like to extend an invitation to join the Washington Area Bicyclist Association for a bike tour of Washington DC's innovative bicycle facilities. The short bike ride (less than 6 miles) will highlight DDOT's inventory of cycle tracks and buffered bike lanes (called Green Lanes for short) on L Street NW, 15th Street NW and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. The ride will also visit M Street NW where DDOT will install a one-way cycle track this summer. DDOT Bicycle Program Specialist Mike Goodno will join the tour to explain the design, construction and operations of the facilities. This tour is ideal for bicycle planners, traffic engineers, transportation policy staff and agency administration at local DOTs & DPWs. Please forward to colleagues who might be interested.
