Looking for a relaxed pace ride or two tomorrow morning?

Saturday, June 29 — 8am Pastry Ride to Hyattsville. We’ll meetup at Proteus at at 7:50 or so, roll out around 8am, pass the Lake Artemesia Main Gate (another good place to join up) at 8:20am, and arrive at Shortcake Bakery in Hyattsville around 8:50 am. Back to Lake Artemesia about 9:45 and Proteus around 10am or so. This is a great beginner ride and a great introduction to the Anacostia Tributary trail system.

Saturday, June 29 depart 10-10:30-ish – Medium-Fast Ride in the Beltsville farms. This is our usual intermediate, no drop ride; it’s about 22 miles, and there’s a rest stop at the Patuxent wildlife refuge. This is a great sort of advanced-beginner ride for folks ready to test their legs a little (there are some hills) but it's fine at either a fast or a slower pace (the fast group just gets to the refuge quicker!). Tomorrow's ride will stop for lunch/beer at the Brew Fest at Old Line Brewery in Beltsville (http://myemail.constantcontact.com/Brew-Fest-THIS-Saturday-at-Old-Line-.html?soid=1111187925355&aid=XSLsEueqK7c)on the way back to the shop.
