Love the art work, but I reported it anyways.

If you're curious, here's where you can report stuff like this: http://www.arlingtonva.us/departments/police/incident/new/start-report.html
I'm not sure why my race and ethnicity is important when making a report. That's another topic for another day.
The process of reporting was easy and fast. It would be cool if they had a mobile app for that. It would make the process even easier.

Is it just me, or can others actually appreciate the art form of graffiti? Not so much this one, but some of it looks pretty cool IMHO
I love it! Even the crappy graffiti makes me laugh and smile. I just kinda thought that I would try out the on-line reporting process.
The process for reporting was okay, but honestly, there is a much easier way. Arlington needs to implement something like SAP Citizen Connect: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sap-citizen-connect/id471275510?mt=8
It is a great way for people to report issues in a way that is easy for them, connected to the enterprise systems that are used to report problems and a cool way for local communities to show that they're responsive.

Illadelphia? Go home, son.

I actually dig well-done graffiti (the above is not an example), but I quite understand the zero-tolerance policy Arlington seems to have as bulwark against tagging (which I am less than impressed with).

My on-line police report was approved. :D
I love being validated. :D

Yes, they have a description of you from the report, and a picture of the getaway vehicle above. Your days as a free man are numbered!

Oh yeah? Well don't get so distressed. Did I happen to mention that I'm impressed?

I really feel for those kids, growing up on the hard streets of Rosslyn.

They can't even spell Rosslyn correctly. More panda drawings, fewer words next time.

(speaking as someone who deals with internet privacy law) It's not relevant. Dont answer it. If the form requires that your put something in the field, lie. The students of the local high schools have gotten this clue, and the demographic data for Arlington HSs have some surprising results.
Arlington can be difficult to interface with. I am attempting to get out of ArlCo how you report illegal signs... like those sandwich board signs that block sidewalks. There are new rules.... but you cant find out what the rules are and you cant find out where to report illegal signs.

Sandwich Board signs used to be completely forbidden, now they are allowed under certain circumstances. Here are the new rules. (http://www.arlingtonva.us/departments/CPHD/planning/zoning/pdfs/file84241.pdf) Like all zoning regulations, violations are handled by code enforcement; you can file a complaint via email (mailto:codeenforcement@arlingtonva.us).
