What is a good cycling factoid to share when hyping BTWD?

Every year, I send a message out to my office letting them know about BTWD since my officemates aren't generally aware of BTWD unless they are already cyclists. I like to try to include a local cycling factoid as a teaser. I haven't had phenomenal success turning non-cyclists into cyclists, but I've seen some newcomers (obviously can't say it was due to me). Maybe your factoid will make the difference. Can you offer a factoid?
